Robert - Thanks also! Now we're up to two (2) cities.

Not surprising that they are both coastal and that they are large! As I mentioned previously Detroit doesn't come this way and neither does Chicago. Does San Francisco? It might be a possibility. New York has the borroughs strips. I'm pretty sure Boston doesn't as even the red-and-white is hard. I am still thinking there must be an 'out of the way' city that has all seven. You generally wouldn't know that Topeka, KS comes in Sea Scout white and blue until you realized that National Commodore Dr. Menninger was based in Topeka.

"Houston, Texas" exists in all seven colors. I have them all in my collection. I have only seen two "Texas" white/blue state strips. I have had all of the other colors in dupe in the past, but not now.

Robert - Thanks! Now we have one confirmed city and it makes sense. Is there another?

I'm also going to post the link you gave of your haves/needs list given how extensive your collection is, it becomes a good check list for others (and if someone has one of you needs, I'm sure you'd like to hear about it.)
Robert Wright's Need/Haves list for BSA State Strips

Thanks for the web-site posting. I like the Fort Meade strip.

Nope - I don't want to count council strips - the hunt is for a community strip that has all seven (7) colors. Could be the same name but from different parts of the country (which makes it hard for Baltimore as I'm not sure there's another one out there - lots of New Baltimores though.)

Yeah. All seven colors are there, but only if you count both "Baltimore" city strips and "Baltimore Area Council" RWS/BWS/WBS issues.

I have a draft page of all the Baltimore strips at:

http://www.tegularius.org/patches/striphistory.html

which includes the only military base strips I know of from the BAC territory.

Dave - thanks for the update. I'm back to not having ANY city that has all seven colors. Detroit doesn't have them. Battle Creek actually could as there was a major military air base in Battle Creek but I don't know if it hosted an Air Scout program. The search goes on!

I just emailed with Bruce, and we think that--as per Rick Barbour's listing--there have never been "Baltimore" city strips in either of the Sea Scout color combinations. So "Baltimore" comes in only five varieties.

I do not know about Maryland strips in Sea Scout colors; I assume that if any exist they are not from Baltimore. There is no Air Scout "MD."; the Air Scout "Baltimore" was worn without a state strip.
