On Tuesday we hired Brad Bowersox, Scout Executive for Mason-Dixon council in Maryland, as the new Scout Executive for Great Sauk Trail Council in Michigan. He is replacing the now retired Scout Executive, Bob Poole. Brad’s coming here will make another Scout Executive position open. There seems to be a lot of transition right now in Scouting leadership positions across the country. Fort Wayne, Indiana is undergoing a search. The Detroit Area Council Executive just went to St. Louis. The New Hampshire Executive, Al Lambert just went to National Capital Area making an opening in New Hampshire. Pueblo, Colorado is open. Denver Area recently filled their Scout Executive position. Very active.

We’re preparing our current offerings. It is the remainders from a very large collection – over 3,000 patches. It struck me that we will have sold over 20,000 patches this year. That’s one heck of a lot of patches. (One sale of 1,000 patches to one person never went public.) We’ve handled two different OA number collections – not complete but both were very deep.
