Still learning – Things not noticed before
Entering items from our inventory of old jamboree patches and noticed having two different Region 6 contingent patches to the 1960 jamboree. One says “Golden Jamboree” in yellow. The other says “National Jamboree” in green. Now I’m not a Region 6 collector so never really had a reason to pay attention that there were two different. Not sure why. Maybe someone can fill us in.
In 1969 Region 6 had a little ‘oversight’ when they left off Georgia from the list of states. Oops.
Update – Thank you Matt and John – I have “Can’t see the forest for the trees” syndrome I guess. Maybe we’re getting too caught up in looking for minute differences that we miss that which stares us in the face. Oh well, they’re still neat patches.
